Egg Mazing : DinoMazing Egg Decorator Review

My kids could hardly wait to get their little hands on the DinoMazing Egg Decorator when we received it. They were super intrigued and eager to find out what this new activity was all about. I had to explain to them that the DinoMazing Egg Decorator is a new and fun craft kit. That we were going to do two activities in one!

They each received one egg and un-wrapped it. We decided that the youngest would go first (it’s a rule that we have established since playing so many games, and it’s just easier this way), so he placed his egg inside the machine (on-top of the wheels), turned it on, and watched as the egg started to spin. I explained that he could use any or all of the six colourful markers that were included in the kit to decorate his egg. Once he picked a colour, he cautiously put it close to the egg (while it spins) and created a fun design while EGGSposing the cracks! Now these cracks are purely aesthetic, the eggs don’t actually crack, they open in half, like traditional Easter Eggs, phew!

So once he felt like he was done decorating his egg, we waited about a minute, just in-case the ink was a bit wet, and then we picked it up. He was so proud of his creation, and thought it was so cool to see cracks. While his sister started on hers, he cracked open his decorated egg. Inside, he found a small plastic bag, with slime and pieces to a build a collectible dinosaur! He had so much fun working through the slime; pulling out the dinosaurs’ head and limbs to put it all together. He said he felt like a paleontologist!

We realized that the dinosaurs’ head and limbs could mix and match; to create their own breed. They thought that was so silly. They created hybrids.
